Day 1.

Upon arrival in Ghana, you would be met at the airport by the crew members of Back Africa Tours. A short orientation would be given after you have been checked in into your hotel about the tour and the country Ghana in general. Relax in your hotel for the next day activities

Day 2.

The best way to get to know a destination is by gaining a bit of its history.The tour begins at theIndependence Square where you will see the enclosed flame of African liberation, which was lit by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in 1961. The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, final resting place of Ghana’s first president. Set in attractive gardens, there is an adjoining museum, which contains photos, artifacts and an insight into Dr. Nkrumah’s life. Adjoining the park is the National cultural center, which is Ghana’s largest outdoor arts and crafts market selling traditional crafts from all over West Africa. We’re hitting AFROFUTURE’s (formerly AFROCHELLA) Polo Beach Jam, the largest growing festival in the continent of Africa brings together millennial talent from and within Africa for an amazing day of Black excellence. You’ll be spending one of the last days of 2024 partying with the locals and listening to the sounds of local and international artists. Feel the music, free your mind, and enjoy an incredible lineup of ground breaking icons and emerging talents in art, culture, and fashion.

Day 3.

The tour begins at 1.00 pm at the W E B Dubois center of Pan-African culture. A house declared a national monument by the Government of Ghana, where the remains of the man W E B Dubois and the ashes of his wife, Shirley enshrined that their memory would live among men and women in this generation back to the hotel to prepare for the Day 2 of the Afrofuture festival (Polo beach Jam) Culture Beach Jam, an unforgettable experience, featuring exclusive art installations, cutting-edge music, vibrant fashion showcases, and diverse food vendors, all curated to celebrate the richness of African culture.

Free day for relaxation and Shopping

Aburi botanical Gardens and Waterfall massage The begins with a trip to the Aburi botanical Gardens to learn about the various plants and trees in these beautiful botanical gardens. We'll drive through to Krobo to witness how traditional beads are made in Ghana as you explore the eastern region of Ghana. enjoy a nice ATV ride in the Garden. Waterfalls massage at chenku Waterfalls Dodowa, this type of massage Calms the nervous system and promotes a sense of relaxation and wellbeing. Reduces tension and anxiety. It helps with pain management in conditions such as arthritis, sciatica, and muscle spasms. Relieves tension-related headaches

Day 6.

Cape Coast Tour A long drive to Cape Coast the historical city with a stop at Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River site, the burial site of two former slaves from the U. S. and Jamaica whose remains were re-interred in August 1998 during Ghana’s first Emancipation Day Celebration. You will see the “Slave River” where captured Africans were washed before being confined in the Slave Castles to await shipment to the Americas and the Caribbean Proceed to Elmina, Elmina is a fishing village that’s both picturesque and gritty, charming and thought-provoking. Visit the Elmina Castle for a guided tour of the first European settlement on the land of Black Africa built in 1482 by the Portuguese and used both in gold trade and slaves. Continue to the Cape Coast Castle, viewing en route the splendid beaches lined with coconut trees, dotted with fishing villages, as well as old slave and gold ports. Upon arrival at the castle, start exploring with a guide, who will share the tragic history of the moving site. Cape Coast Castle is one of roughly 40 “slave castles” along West Africa’s Gold Coast and was the final stop for some enslaved Africans on the “middle passage” trading route to the Americas. visiting the castle, dungeons, and individual cells with a guide offers insight into the conditions that enslaved Africans faced, and into the dark history of slavery in Africa.

Day 7.

Drive to Akosombo for a Boat cruise on the Volta Lake which is the World’s largest reservoir by surface and 4th largest by water Volume. The boat cruise offers a combination of adventure, entertainment, history, and education. The cruise includes a stop at the ADOMI Bridge, where visitors can enjoy water sports, explore the island, and take in the scenery.

Day 8.

James town tour James Town—one of Accra’s most historic neighborhoods, where history resides on every corner. Best known for its lighthouses (the first of which was constructed in 1875 by the British) as a navigational aid for trading vessels sailing through the Gulf of Guinea. The original structure was ruined but a larger and more improved lighthouse completed in 1921 is still functioning today. Visit the “Brazil House” and learn about the seven Afro-Brazilian families who returned to settle in Ghana in 1836. Familiar Brazilian/Portuguese last names such as De Souza, Palmares, Azumah, Amorin, Da Costa, Santos, De Medeiros and Olympio are abundant in this section of Accra. Little Havana All White Party annual event held on the Hills of Aburi and is considered Africa's biggest all-white VIP party. It features fireworks, global influencers, and celebrities, and is a social networking event for young entrepreneurs

Day 9.

Departure Enjoy the morning at leisure after breakfast. Check-out from the hotel is 12pm. You can visit the Oxford Street or Accra Arts & Crafts Centre for a last minute shopping before you are transferred to the Kotoka International airport for your a departure flight.
