Day 1.

Arrive at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport, transfer to the hotel for orientation and relaxation.

Day 2.

St. Paul's Cathedral, National Museum of Ivory Coast The tour begins after breakfast with a visit to the beautiful St. Paul's Catholic cathedral built in 1895, by the French missionaries. showcasing colonial-era architecture and stunning stained-glass windows. The chapel served Abidjan's growing European population and African converts and remains a significant spiritual center and Abidjan landmark Continue to the National Museum of Ivory Coast (Musée National des Arts et Traditions de Côte d'Ivoire). it was established 1942, during the French colonial era. To preserve Ivorian cultural artifacts and promote French colonial interests. it was reoriented to highlight Ivorian history, art and traditions after the County's independent. The Museum showcases Ivorian art, culture and history through exhibits on textiles, masks, musical instruments and traditional clothing.

Day 3.

Abidjan / Abengourou After breakfast, We travel to Abengourou in Indenie Kingdom. On the way, visit of the fetish priest (komian) who do the formal fetish dance. then continue to the village of Aniassue where you will meet the witch doctor’s ceremonies and the fetish dance. Continue to Ndiable to visit the king Nanan Kouao, followed by a tour of the local cocoa plantation.

Day 4.

Abengourou / Yamoussoukro Drive to Yamoussoukro after breakfast. Yamoussoukro is the political and administrative Capital of Ivory Coast. it is the first ivorian city to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace, which was built between 1986 and 1989 and consecrated by Pope John Paul II on 10 September 1990. designed onthe model of St Pteter's Basilica in Rome. Continue to the Crocodile Lake. surrounding around the Yamoussoukro Presidential Palace. They are Nile Crocodiles and each weigh almost a ton and measured upto six meters. they jumped several meters to grab food being serve to them.

Day 5.

Yamoussoukro / Depart to Ghana Visit the French Colonial district, the costume museum, the craft center, the governor "Binger" palace, the first colonial governor, and the Ariane Museum, which represents the yellow fever epidemic disease during the colonial era, after breakfast. Then, travel to Abidjan and Grand Bassam, the colonial capital city. Visit the reputable market to purchase souvenirs. Depart to Ghana after the day's activities

Day 6.

Ghana/ Nzulezu (Village on Stilts), Nkroful Kwame Nkrumah's birthplace, Fort Appolonia The tour begins at Nzulezu,the village on stilts after Breakfast. Nzulezu, a centuries-old settlement built entirely on stilts over the surface of Lake Tadane, creating a unique and captivating environment. We'll explore the village's remarkable architecture, with houses and structures built on stilts above the lake's surface. Observe the daily life and customs of the village's inhabitants, Enjoy canoe rides, fishing and scenic views across the lake. The area is a haven for bird enthusiasts, with numerous species to spot. Continue to Nkroful, a is a small village in the Jomoro District of the Western Region of Ghana. It is notable for being the birthplace of Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana's first president and a key figure in the country's struggle for independence. Drive to Takoradi to Check in at the Raybow Hotel

Day 7.

Bisa Abrewa Museum / Cape Coast/Elmina Drive to Bisa Abrewa Museum After Breakfast. A museum created to be one of the largest sculptural representations in clay, wood, cement, paintings and photographs of personalities whose sacrifices have shaped African history, both within the continent and the diaspora. It has about 2,200 artefacts, sculptural pieces and photographs of heroes of the African struggle and the African American Civil Rights Movement as well as other Black personalities in the French, Portuguese and Spanish Caribbean. Bisa Aberwa Museum houses one of the world’s largest private collections of artefacts, sculpture and audio-visual representations of the African story. Drive along the scenic coast toward Elmina Castle, Elmina is a fishing village that’s both picturesque and gritty, charming and though-provoking. Visit the Elmina Castle for a guided tour of the first European settlement on the land of black Africa built in 1482 by the Portuguese and used for both fold and slave trading

Day 8.

Cape Coast Castle/ Kakum Canopy Walk/ Assin Manso Ancestral slave River Drive to the Cape Coast Castle after breakfast, viewing en route the splendid beaches lined with coconut trees, dotted with fishing villages, as well as old slave and gold ports. Upon arrival at the castle, start exploring with a guide, who will share the tragic history of the moving site. Continue to the kakum National Park and Canopy walk. Kakum National Park, is one of West Africa’s surviving tropical rain forests. Extending over 360sq km, the home to over 40 large mammals and 400 bird species as well as many species of butterflies, flora and fauna. The most popular attraction is the Canopy walkway, which is made up of seven bridges extending 330m, hanging 30m (100 feet) above the forest floor. Walk through this forest to discover the wide variety of exotic floral species and the medicinal values they offer and take a walk on the canopy walkway. Continue to Assin Manso the Ancestral slave river site after launch. Assin Manso Ancestral Slave river site, the burial site of two former slaves from the U. S. and Jamaica whose remains were re-interred in August 1998 during Ghana’s first Emancipation Day Celebration. You will see the “Slave River” where captured Africans were washed before being confined in the Slave Castles to await shipment to the Americas and the Caribbean

Day 9.

Kumasi/ Accra A long drive to Kumasi. the Kumasi day tour commence with a visit to the legendary sword site Okomfo Anokye who as a chief priest of the Akan kingdom under the Great Osei Tutu drove the sword into the ground never to be removed by any power, signifying the invincibility of the ancient Asante Kingdom. Next visit to the Kumasi Central Market, one of the open largest Market in West Africa and the largest in Ghana. A wide range of locally made goods are sold at bargain prices. Proceed to the Manhyia Palace, the official residence of the Asantehene for a visit. The palace was built in 1925 by the British Colonial Government, it served as the private residence for Asantehene Agyeman Prempeh I upon his return from Seychelles after twenty-eight years in exile. The Manhyia Palace Museum stands as a symbol of the rich history and culture of the Asante Kingdom. Continue to the National Cultural Centre incorporating King Prempeh ll jubilee museum. Where you will be made to see on display Asante Royal Paraphernalia crafted in gold and mementoes of war. The tour ends at Cultural Craft Centre and a model Asante village with an authentic fetish house, cocoa farm and others.

Day 10.

Accra The tour commenced after the hotel check-in with a tour of the National Museum to view a collection of ancient and contemporary Ghanaian arts and relics. Next, proceed to W E B Dubois center of Pan-African culture. A house declared a national monument by the Government of Ghana, where the remains of the man W E B Dubois and the ashes of his wife, Shirley, enshrined that their memory will live among men and women in this generation. Continue to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park next to the arts center. The memorial park was a former British Polo field where Ghana's independence was declared in 1957. The Mausoleum is a magnificent Marble Monument and the last resting place of the first President of Ghana Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and his wife, Fathia Nkrumah. The park also serves a symbol of Ghana's freedom. It is a tribute to the man who led Ghana to independence and sparked the wave of decolonization across Africa. It also serves as a source of inspiration for future generations Drive back to the Hotel to prepare for the night. ( Accra night life)

Day 11.

We begin after breakfast at the Independence Square, where you will see the enclosed flame of African liberation, which was lit by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in 1961. Continue to the Mokola Market, Accra’s biggest traditional open market where everything is bargained for amidst of smiles of friendly women Proceed James Town—one of Accra’s most historic neighborhoods, where history resides on every corner. Best known for its lighthouses (the first of which was constructed in 1875 by the British) as a navigational aid for trading vessels sailing through the Gulf of Guinea. The original structure was ruined but a larger and more improved lighthouse completed in 1921 is still functioning today. Visit the“Brazil House” and learn about the seven Afro-Brazilian families who returned to settle in Ghana in 1836. Familiar Brazilian/Portuguese last names such as De Souza, Palmares, Azumah, Amorin, Da Costa, Santos, De Medeiros and Olympio are abundant in this section of Accra. Drive to the Arts Centre incorporating the Centre for National Culture Accra’s main crafts bazaar selling wide range of goods from ivory, leather, straw, wood, textiles, jewelry to all types of footwear made locally.
